Satish Kaushik’s nephew says late actor’s wife is in ‘bad shape
After the passing of Satish Kaushik, his nephew Nishant has opened up about how the late actor’s family is still “trying to come to terms” with the loss. Nishant, who lit Satish‘s funeral pyre, is also one of the producers for the late actor’s production house, Satish Kaushik Entertainment. Nishant has shared that Satish’s wife Shashi and daughter Vanshika are in a “bad shape”.
In an interview with The Times of India, Nishant said that Shashi “goes quiet and flashes of memories roll back” to her, and Vanshika tries to put up a courageous front before others, but when “she retires into a corner, she starts feeling uncomfortable.”
Satish Kaushik died on March 9 after suffering a heart attack. He breathed his last in Gurugram, and his mortal remains were brought to Mumbai to his family before his cremation. Kaushik was 66. Nishant had written a moving tribute for his uncle, who was also like a father figure to him.'
Sharing pictures with the late actor, he had written, “My dearest Chacha Ji, Of all the great blessings in life however big or small was to have a Chacha like you.You were one of a kind You were everything to me, my father figure ,my best friend, my mentor, my biggest critique, my support system and lots more. Life will never be the same without you by my side. You have left me alone in this journey of life and I’m unable to come to terms with your absence.”
There was so much we had to do together, so many films to be made ,so many dreams to be fulfilled, so much to learn from you. I knew I could always depend on you .How will I do this alone Chacha Ji ? Life isnt fair at all, it takes unexpected twists and turns and expects us to be prepared for it, well I’m not . I just can’t imagine my life without you, though I know you will always be watching over me from wherever you are .I promise to fulfill all your unfulfilled dreams and make you happy and proud. You truly were an inspiration for me. You were and will always have a special place in my heart,” he added.
Thank you for teaching me, supporting me, and for always being there for me no matter what. There never will be another person like you. You will always be in my prayers Love you lots my dear Chacha Ji Rest in peace🙏🏻,” he concluded.
